Can i make a webpage have a list of hyperlinks to files automatically updated from what’s in a file directory?

the list of hyperlinks could just be on the page or in a dropdown list. the links are to pdf files, but everytime I add or remove pdf files from the directory I want the hyperlinks to auto/dynamically update?
