I have Vista and have Word installed. When I try to open a .doc file, it gives me “… not a valid Win 32 application” error. When I try to change the file association under properties, I cant find the right Word program. When I save a word 2007 file (.docx) it says it opens with “Microsoft Office Word”. But when I save a .doc file, it says it opens with “2007 Microsoft Office component” which has the word icon. I can’t find the same one that the .docx file uses anywhere.
I also wanted to add that I can still open these files by opening up Microsoft Word separately, but not by opening through an internet file or directly through double clicking the document.

What to do if I’m trying to delete files but it won’t, like i get error messages/”cannot delete file”?
I’m trying to upgrade my antivirus, and when im trying to click the
upgrade, it wont do and get errors, and the uninstall isn’t working as well,
so I also tried to manually delete the folder, but it won’t delete as well.
I also tried downloading the new version of that anti-virus, thinking that
maybe it could upgrade and overwrite the old one, but also won’t, the old
one should be removed, how do i do that if I cant get it done?
