I have a Canon PowerShot SD400 and have done a movie video clip with it. When I open the file on my desktop, there are 2 files for the clip. One is called MVI_0696.THM (this one doesn’t have the picture displayed) and the one that plays in my window media player is called MVI_0696 (this is the one I can play on my computer and shows a picture on the file front).
I need to know the steps to be able to send this to my husband in an e-mail. I am not too computer literate, so a step by step process is best for me. I would like it to loop like it does on my windows media as well. Please help because this is the first time our son has put two words together and I would like to share it will my husband ASAP.
The size is 44.1MB if that is important
Thank you in advance…
I would also like to add this to my Myspace account as well. Any ideas on how to do this? Thank you…
To I.B.R.
The file that I can see doesn’t have anything after the MVI_0696. I right clicked it and the box came up with only that in the slot. It says it opens with Windows Media Player.
The other file without a picture has the .THM after it and nothing really in the properties box. So I have no idea as to what the extension (??) is. Thank you for the help too!
Hello everyone,
WhileI am getting great replies… I must tell you that I have no idea as to how to “break the files into smaller files”. I am really new to the whole computer thing and really don’t use any programs that do that type of stuff. So if anyone can take the time to type it out and explain it to me, that would be great. Thank you for the great info.
