I have split a 2.2GB video file and sent it into two parts using You Send It. How does recipient combine?

This was a Final Cut Express file split in two, each file exported as a quicktime file, both files sent with You Send It. How does the recipient put it back together in one file to play it?
I have already split the file and sent both, so the recipient has two Quick Time Movie files to pick up. Do they need software to combine the files?
