How do I rename files in C:\Program files Folder in Windows vista?

Hi all I am using windows vista, I am the owner of that computer I am the administrator but I can’t rename a single file in C:Program records folder? Can’t also delete any file in C:Program records folder, the pop up message shows that I do not have permission to do it? If I am the administrator of the Windows Vista computer How come I still don’t have the permission to rename or delete the records in my own computer?

How can I rename some records in C:Program records folder? do I need to do some background modification?

I want to rename records in the C:Program records folder, not rename C:Program records folder.

Thanks.
