¿COMO PUEDO VER MI TDT EN EL VIDEOLAN (VLC)?

Hay dos formas (o más), siempre que tenga instalada una capturadora de video de TDT en el ordenador. Una de las que me sé es por shortcut y la otra por playlist.

Voy a dar el ejemplo con el canal de Libertad Digital TV en Madrid. El canal viene sobre la frecuencia de 706000kHz, donde tambien viene el canal Aprende Ingles TV, esMadridTV, Ver-T y la radio Vaughan Radio. Libertad Digital TV tiene el SID o numero de programa 5002 y se encuentra en ancho de banda de 8MHz.

Si quiero crear un shortcut para ver en el VLC con esos datos a Libertad Digital TV, entonces teclearé:

"C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe" dvb-t://frequency=706000000 :dvb-bandwidth=8 :program=5002

Ahora, si lo que quiero es tener el canal dentro de una playlist, solo tengo que escribir dentro de un fichero de texto y guardar con extension .xspf lo siguiente:

Algunos canales tienen señal multilenguaje (dual), que en el VLC se puede cambiar con el otro botón del ratón>audio>pista de audio. También hay varios canales que contienen paginas de teletexto, lo cual habilitará el botón para acceder en la parte de abajo de la interfaz.

NOTA: Si quiere conocer los detalles de frecuencia y SID para su zona, puede descargar el programa DVB Dream de la página dvbdream.org. Al instalar y hacer un SCAN de la DVB-T Europe, tendrá una lista completa de lo que el software ha encontrado con su capturadora, y con el otro botón del ratón sobre la lista de canales en cada canal, obtendra todos los datos de cada uno: Frecuencia, Polarización, PID, SID, TID, NID, PCR, PMT, etc…

HOW TO WATCH DVB-T WITH VIDEOLAN (VLC)?

Two ways (once you have installed your DBV-T video capture device): by shortcut or playlist.

For example, the Libertad Digital TV channel in Madrid comes inside frequency 706000kHz along with other channels. This one has the SID or program number: 5002 and is inside the 8MHz bandwidth.

With that data, if I want to create a shortcut for VLC, then I have to type the location:

"C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe" dvb-t://frequency=706000000 :dvb-bandwidth=8 :program=5002

Now, if I want to have it inside a playlist, all I have to do is create a text file with the extension .xspf and this content:

I would like to populate a combobox in vb.net with a .txt file. Unfortunately I don’t know how to do this. The main goal afterwards is to populate a second and a third combobox based on the previous one. I didn’t find any solution on Internet. Could somebody please help me with this issue ? Thank you.

Interesting problem. But not a hard one to solve – if we apply the core approach used to solve any problem with software: divide and conquer. The problem can be divided as follows:

- standardize your data (the .txt file(s)) by either determining how records are delimited; by a character like a semicolon or comma (comma-delimited data is used by MS Excel and is typically a text file ending with .csv) or maybe it’s data delimited by a carriage return – that is one record per line
- determine how the data will be organized in memory; will it be elements of an array or, more likely, some kind of objects that can easily be consumed by the control you’re using (in this instance, the ComboBox)
- format the presentation of the data; is there anything we need to do to the data when its displayed in the combobox or can we display it as-is?

So the first step is reading the data and you’ll want to consider using the File object in the System.IO namespace and doing something like a File.Open() to read your text file into a string object.

Next, you’ll want to break up the string into the individual data records we’ll use as items to be displayed in the ComboBox: String.Split() is one way of doing this. However, you may recall that the ComboBox is a special kind of control called a “data bound control”; which means it offers properties and methods that specifically facilitate working with data. In particular, the ComboBox.DataSource property is compatible with objects that expose the IEnumberable interface – and so it might be worthwhile converting that string array (represented as string()) to a generic List (or List). Once you have your data in a List, you can simply assign that member to the DataSource property of your ComboBox control and you’ll see your data displayed (in a raw, untreated form) therein:
