My boyfriends exgirlfriend poped up after all these years claiming that he is the father of her 7 year old twins… my boyfriend scheduled a DNA test for next week but for the last 3 months she has proceeded to call our house harassing us and making threats about destroying both of our lives and yelling about the money that he owes her that he better pay now, etc etc. Now hes not sure if theses are his children so he filed a petition of paternity in family court in an attempt to get a court order for a DNA test but the judge said that he couldnt place the order unless it was accompanied with a support order since there is no name listed on the birth certificate. He could only add his name if he was acknowledging paternity. Now she was at the hearing and heard what the judge said yet she refuses to file a support order… she’d rather call nonstop to holler and scream and each time we both tell her to file her support order instead of calling and she just hangs up. Now he scheduled a DNA test but we dont know if she’s going to show up because she said she doesnt need a test she knows these are his kids but how do we get this issue resolved? The court will only order a DNA when she files a order for support and he contest the paternity. The original judge told him to get a test done without her filing a support order he would have to pay for himself and thats what hes trying to do but what if she doesn’t show up then what can we do? Either way a DNA test will have to be done because there is no father listed on the birth certificates so right now all she can get is welfare which is what shes been getting
