Question by : How to get started in programming?
I have taken several college programming classes and I fully understand the basics of Java, C++, Python and C#. Here’s my problem. I’m tired of building stupid little programs that don’t have any practical use. For example in class I made a program that emulated an ATM but I don’t know how to put that into use other than clicking build without debugging on the compiler. Can anyone suggest a real project for me to get started on to do some real programming?

I made a temperature converter and byte converter in Java using Netbeans IDE; you could copy me XD
